Heartsaver CPR AED

Heartsaver CPR AED is the #1 cornerstone program for people who need to learn lifesaving skills for their job, the general public, and some allied health professionals.

Heartsaver® is the right program for a wide range of students

Heartsaver® students come from an array of professions, backgrounds and interests that include:

  • Healthcare and allied health professionals (such as personal support workers/healthcare aides, medical technicians, dentists, dental hygienists, dietitians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and medical/dental office assistants)
  • Non-healthcare professionals (such as security guards, early childhood educators, personal trainers and fitness instructors)
  • Volunteers (involved with churches, libraries, community centres/events, clubs, caretaking and more)
  • General public (who have an interest in developing CPR and AED life-saving skills)

What is the difference?

  • Please take note that Heartsaver may not be suitable for all healthcare professionals depending on their practice environment. Heartsaver does not include two-person CPR, use of bag-valve masks nor resuscitation team dynamics.
